Thomas Meunier makes admission over Paris Saint-Germain future amidst Everton links

Thomas Menuier has made an admission about his future amid speculation linking him with a move away from Paris Saint-Germain.

The talented right-back has been attracting interest from clubs all over Europe as his contract with the Ligue 1 champions runs until 2020 and he had been struggling to hold down a regular place in the starting XI this season.

Everton were reportedly one of the teams interested in securing the services of the Belgian international but the 27-year-old has now cooled the rumours.

“Is there anything about my situation in Paris? It’s football,” the ormer Club Brugge full-back said .

“I still have a contract until 2020. I am delighted here, I really love the city and the club. Probabilities, at the beginning of my career, were 0.0001% that I play one day for PSG. I have no reason to complain in reality.

“You have to take life philosophically. What is happening to me here is simply unexpected.”
