Barcelona are reportedly keen on the Liverpool man.
According to a report from Spanish media outlet Sport, Barcelona are interested in signing Liverpool flop Alberto Moreno, as they look to bring in cover for Jordi Alba.
The 26-year-old joined the Reds from Sevilla in the summer of 2014, for a fee believed to be worth £12 million, according to BBC Sport, but he has never really lived up to expectations at Anfield.
Andrew Robertson is now Liverpool’s first choice left-back, and unless the Scot suffers an injury, it is unlikely that Moreno will ever force his way back into Jürgen Klopp’s side.
In fact, it seems as though the German actually prefers James Milner to fill in at left-back when Robertson is unavailable for selection.
And now, somewhat surprisingly, Spanish publication Sport claims that Barcelona want to sign the Spanish full-back as cover for 29-year-old Jordi Alba.
They suggest that Barca are also interested in Arsenal’s Nacho Monreal and Atletico Madrid’s Filipe Luis, so it remains to be seen whether they will actually make a concrete move for the Liverpool man.
