Alexandre Lacazette has joined Arsenal fans in hitting out at Davinson Sanchez for appearing to aim a kick at Gunners defender Laurent Koscielny during the north London derby.
The two sides played out a thrilling 1-1 draw on Saturday, with Harry Kane’s second-half penalty cancelling out Aaron Ramsey’s early strike – while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang missed the chance to win it from the spot late on.
Shortly after that miss, Spurs went up the other end and had a set-piece of their own which resulted in a goal mouth scramble.
As centre-back Sanchez got to his feet, he tussled with Koscielny who was prone on the floor and seemed to lash out at the Arsenal skipper, who looked furious.
The incident was missed by referee Anthony Taylor during the game, though it was picked up by Arsenal fans on social media afterwards.
One fan uploaded a clip along with the caption, ‘Will Sanchez get done for this or did Anthony Taylor see it like [Andre] Marriner “saw” the Kane headbutt against Chelsea?’
Lacazette appeared to share that grievance, retweeting the comment to his 1.08million Twitter followers, while on Instagram he also ‘liked’ a post showing Kane in an offside positon before winning his penalty and then Jan Vertonghen encroaching for Aubameyang’s miss.

Kane very nearly missed the north London derby, having butted heads with Cesar Azpilicueta in the midweek defeat to Chelsea, though referee Marriner saw the incident and chose not to take any action. Manager Unai Emery also seemed unhappy with the ref, saying:
‘I think VAR is coming to help the referees. VAR is coming for matches like today.
‘For me the referees were with big personality but it’s not enough to make decisions on difficult action in the box, both for them and us.’
