The Sky Sports journalist has stated that the Premier League club are ‘exploring’ the possibility of a transfer and are thought to be ‘in talks’ about a transfer.
Dorsett did also reveal that Tottenham had officially denied any interest in the player, whilst Leicester City had been linked with a move for Tielemans.
The 21-year-old has represented Belgium 19 times and is believed to be one of Europe’s brightest midfield talents.
It has been claimed that Monaco would be prepared to accept an offer in the region of £20million for the player.
He has made 20 appearances for the club this season and has scored five times, although he has not been in his best form in recent weeks.
Tielemans could be an excellent coup for Tottenham this winter and could be the difference in helping Spurs achieve a top-four finish this season.
The club have struggled with a number of injuries to their midfield this season and Mauricio Pochettino is believed to be keen on bringing in reinforcements.
With Tielemans thought to be available for around £20m and with significant interest from Leicester, Tottenham could face a battle to secure the 21-year-old’s signature.
