The Spurs midfielder is in Didier Deschamps’ squad for the Euro 2020 qualifiers against
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko has been called up to the latest France squad for the upcoming games against Moldova and Iceland.
Didier Deschamps’s 24-man squad was announced on Thursday as the 2018 World Cup winners prepare to open their European Championships qualifying campaign.
Sissoko has won 55 caps for his nation (Transfermarkt), but his poor form during his first two seasons at Spurs ended up costing him a place in the squad for Russia last summer.
However, the 29-year-old’s improved form this term saw Deschamps recall him for November’s internationals and he has once again been considered for the Euro 2020 qualifiers.
France’s official Twitter account posted their squad, which Spurs retweeted in praise of Sissoko and Hugo Lloris, who was also called up:

Sissoko has made 22 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Spurs so far this season, providing two assists in the process, according to Whoscored.
France kick off their Group H campaign in Moldova on March 22, before facing Iceland at home three days later, and coming up there are fixtures against Turkey, Andorra and Albania later in the year.
