Coutinho wants Manchester United move; Liverpool and Manchester United set for £70m battle

Rodriguez battle
The Mirror report that both Liverpool and Manchester United are eyeing up moves for James Rodriguez.

Rodriguez’s future is currently uncertain, with the Real Madrid attacker currently on loan at Bayern Munich, who have an option to buy for £50m.

The Colombian says he wants to return to the Spanish capital but Zinedine Zidane’s arrival could scupper that.

Should the two Premier League clubs opt to try and swoop in, however, it will cost them up to £70m.

Coutinho latest
Birmingham Live report that Phillipe Coutinho has issued a “come and get me” plea to Manchester United.

Coutinho has confided in a number of United’s players that he would love a move to Old Trafford.

The former Liverpool man has grown increasingly unsettled in Spain.
