Arsenal team revealed for West Ham clash as Mesut Ozil returns from injury

Arsenal skipper Laurent Koscielny is set to start against West Ham on Saturday.

The Frenchman is working his way back to full fitness after missing seven months last year.

He missed last weekend’s FA Cup victory over Blackpool but is set to be recalled at the London Stadium to partner Shkodran Mustafi and Sokratis in central defence.

Speaking ahead of the clash, Unai Emery admitted he may have to nurse his skipper for the remainder of the season.

“He is training well and he is OK,” Emery said. “We pushed him to play after his injuries because we needed him in some matches. It’s not easy for him to play three matches in one week.

“We can use the players in the match on Saturday after a week of rest. The players have been recovering for this match.”

Mesut Ozil is also available for Arsenal after a knee problem although he could be on the bench.

The Gunners have been boosted by the return to training of Hector Bellerin, with the Spaniard in line to start against West Ham .

Fit-again Nacho Monreal is likely to be on the bench with Sead Kolasinac keeping his place.
