The Tottenham Hotspur man is currently out injured.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino addressed the media today ahead of his side’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday, and joked about how he shares similar taste with left-back Danny Rose, as quoted by Football.London.
Rose, 27, is currently out injured, and has not played since Spurs’ 1-0 win over Cardiff City at Wembley Stadium on October 6th.
Whilst Ben Davies has proven to be an able deputy for Rose, Pochettino will surely be desperate to have the England international back and available for selection as soon as possible.
The Argentine spoke to reporters today, and shared that he hopes to have the Tottenham defender back involved with the first-team setup soon after the two week international break, as quoted by Football.London:
“I saw him this morning, I asked for his perfume because he has very good perfume. It is good. He has very good taste about picking different perfume. We share taste.
“It is a little bit longer than we expected, we will see if he will become available as soon as possible.
“We hope it will be after the international break, it might be difficult for the week after the international break but we will see. We will see what the evolution is, it may be a situation that can change quick and be positive.”
Tottenham head to Selhurst Park on Saturday to take on Palace, and their defence will have to be on the their very best form, with an in-form Wilfried Zaha coming at them all evening.
